The Arabs were given a choice in 1948. They were also given a choice in 1967 and 1973. They always and will always and have always chosen violence. they chose it in 1929 and 1936, too. Never mind that in 1946 the Arabs got 80% of the "Palestine" mandate. (Read: Israell)
They choose war because they are violent people. They don't want land, they've proven that. What they want is to murder and wreck havoc, because that's what they choose over and over again. When Ehud Barak offered them 97% of the "West Bank" They chose war. When Bibi Netanyahu gave them Hebron, they decided to shoot at the Jewish residents for two years straight, they chose war. They consistently choose war. Over and over and over again. And as history has proven, until we kill them and evict them from our lands for all eternity, they will remain the warring thorns in our sides.
